# Points

When you trade on Ventuals markets or on the Ventuals app, you earn points.

## Ventuals points

Program start: Tuesday, February 3rd 2026.

Points distributions: Fridays, starting on February 13th 2026.

Eligibility: Any wallet address that has trading activity on:

* Ventuals (`vntl`) markets through any frontend, or
* Any market through the [Ventuals frontend](https://ventuals.com/)

### Emissions

500,000 Ventuals points allocated weekly.

**Bonus pool (Feb 3 – Feb 17)**

1,000,000 bonus points allocated for the first $100M in trading volume

* 500K points for trades on Ventuals (`vntl`) markets through the [Ventuals frontend](https://ventuals.com/)
* 500K points + 5x TREAD points boost for trades on Ventuals (`vntl`) markets through [tread.fi](https://www.tread.fi/)

Lasts until Feb 17, 2026 or up to $100M trading volume, whichever comes first.

### Methodology

Points are awarded to users who exhibit genuine trading activity. The exact distribution methodology will not be disclosed, but includes the following factors:

* Trading Ventuals (`vntl`) markets from any frontend application
* Taker trading activity, maker trading activity, and holding open interest on Ventuals markets
* Trading any Hyperliquid / HIP-3 market from the Ventuals frontend application ([ventuals.com](https://ventuals.com/))

### Boosts

Points boosts are awarded to users who hold [vHYPE](/vhype/vhype.md), the HYPE LST for Ventuals. The more vHYPE you hold, the greater your points boost (minimum of 100 vHYPE).

***

*The prior* [*Maker Points program*](/liquidity/maker-points.md) *ran from Nov 13, 2025 – Feb 3, 2026, and has been deprecated in favor of this broader trading points program that includes more holistic trading activity.*

*The* [*vHYPE points program*](/vhype/points.md) *is ongoing with a 1M weekly points allocation. The total weekly Ventuals points emissions = 1.5M (1M vHYPE + 500K trading).*

*Ventuals reserves the rights to change the points formulas at any time, or modify past point distributions at its sole discretion.*
