# Referrals {% hint style="info" %} Trades must be placed from the Ventuals frontend ([ventuals.com](https://ventuals.com/)) to count towards your referral rewards. {% endhint %} Referrals allow you to earn fees generated from people that you refer to trade on Ventuals.

## Referral tiers The more vHYPE you hold, the higher your referral rebates and rewards are.

## Making referrals ### Rewards Referrers will receive a portion of the trading fees generated by their referrals. Referral reward tiers start at 10% and increase to 60% based on the amount of vHYPE you hold.
